On World Cancer Day, I have donated our Science kits to 50 families of children diagnosed with cancer.These children mostly have brain tumours, leukaemia & lymphomas; some will fight to recover, most will devlop further life limiting/ changing disabililty, & unfortunately some are terminally ill.Our kits will serve as fun learning activities for children to make memories with their parents, however short they may be.COVID-19 has been especially difficult for them since funding & support structure has reduced & lockdown has caused them to be home, instead of being outside to play and learn. Welsh Government, through Inspiring Skills Excellence in Wales (ISE in Wales) have launched 'Have a Go' initiative, to inspire youngs kids into STEM learning and help them better understand application of Engineering & Technology in careers. We had delivered 250+ Science Kits to Coleg Sir Gâr, a further education college in Wales, who are leading this initiative! We are very proud of this collaboration! Over the past few weeks, we have also been manufacturing much needed Face-Shields and donating them to NHS, Red Cross and care homes! We have done it! The face-shields have been helpful to our health care heroes, fighting Coronavirus to keep us safe!
